Genuinely hand-knotted in Morocco on a traditional loom, by a single weaver, using methods passed down through generations. Not factory-produced, not made to a uniform pattern.
Every piece is one of a kind. Once it is sold, it cannot be replicated.
In the Azilal province of the High Atlas, Amazigh (Berber) women weave loose, bright, improvised rugs — the freest hand in Moroccan weaving.
Origin. Azilal province, central High Atlas, Morocco
Technique. Pile-knotted on wool or cotton foundation; some flatweave
Palette. Bright pinks, oranges, yellows and reds over ivory; rare early pieces are quieter and natural-dyed
Vacuum gently and without a beater bar. Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills immediately — never rub. Professional cleaning only; these are natural-dye wool pieces and should never be machine washed.
A natural wool rug ages into its character. Minor shedding in the first months is normal and settles with use.
Ships worldwide from Marrakech, generally within 3–5 business days. Shipping costs are confirmed at checkout or on inquiry.
All sales are final. Transit damage is covered when reported within 48 hours of receipt.
